Our Mission
To create opportunities that change people's lives. We seek to support people – especially young people and those with disabilities - to overcome exclusion and discrimination, develop their skills, broaden their experience and achieve their God-given potential.

Our Vision
ROP's vision is of a caring world as created by a loving God in which all those in need - including those who are excluded, disadvantaged or who feel alienated - are helped and supported to overcome personal challenges and broaden their life chances.

Our Values
The work of ROP will be guided and informed by our desire to express God's love for the weak and vulnerable in the community by:

  1. Passion. We are driven by our desire to make a positive difference to the lives of all people, and in particular disadvantaged and/or disabled children and young people.
  2. Hope. We believe in the potential of everyone, no matter what they may have experienced previously, and seek to offer hope especially where there is despair or discrimination
  3. Quality. We will provide high quality services and support to all our beneficiaries and ensure high quality in all our dealings with individual people and organisations.
  4. Partnership. We will work in partnership with appropriate individuals, agencies and organisations and express inclusiveness in all our relationships.
  5. Mutual Respect. We respect and value people regardless of their religion, ability, gender or race, and seek to gain their respect in return.
  6. Honesty and Transparency. We accept accountability at all levels for the effectiveness of our actions and seek to be open in our judgements and our communications with others.
  7. Appreciation. We recognise and appreciate the skills, expertise and commitment of our staff, volunteers and all those who contribute to the work we do.
