ReachOut Plus is a growing and exciting charity that seeks to create opportunities that change people's lives. We work especially with young people and people with disabilities and particular disadvantage.
We aim to support these special people to overcome exclusion and discrimination, develop their skills, broaden their experience and achieve their potential.
We support over 4,000 people every year working with 12 staff and 200 volunteers.
- We run support and educational services in our own facilities (inc our wheelchair accessible boats and conference centre) and we offer those facilities to other organisations with similar aims. We also rent them for corporate or private hire to support our funding.
- We work with London Boroughs and schools in urban deprived areas to support young people at risk of exclusion or with particular disadvantage. At the centre of a six month support programme is a residential week in the countryside to provide them with the opportunity for reflection and personal development.
- We work with young and disabled people in their own homes and communities and wherever we feel we can best help create those opportunities that change peoples lives and offer a better future.
We work in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and are expanding services into Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and North London.
People use our facilities from all over the region and beyond.

"Many, many thanks for all of your efforts in making this years' trip such a success for 'Sara'. She came home absolutely thrilled to bits with her experience. Please accept my sincerest appreciation for the patience and understanding, as well as the sheer physical effort this took to achieve".
